Writer's Block

Lately, I’ve been hit with writer’s block. Not due to a lack of passion, of course, I love writing blog posts and scripts for videos. Not to mention the responses I've been getting recently have been overwhelmingly positive. I finally feel like I’m starting to find myself and my style - and even better, I feel like I’ve been accepted. That’s all I’ve ever wanted on this platform.

But maybe that’s the problem? I find that my “style” doesn’t fit into any pre-defined category. I don’t know where I slot in anymore. I don’t particularly mind if I don’t fit in anywhere, it’s just that it makes it harder to network, promote myself, make connections. How can you tell people about your channel if you can’t really describe it?

Or maybe it's more than that, maybe I'm finding it difficult to write because of the pressure I put on myself to continually improve. I want to experiment, to be bolder, to make something no one has ever seen before - but sometimes it's just not possible to do that every single week. On one hand, I know that my desire to improve will make my content better, but on the other hand it can be pretty exhausting to be my own biggest critic.

Let me know what you think of this predicament, and if it's ever happened to you.

I always read and reply to comments! Say hello!
