I Heart Makeup: Death By Chocolate Palette. Review, Looks, & Swatches.

I got the I Heart Makeup: Death By Chocolate Palette, £7.99, and so far I love it. The colour selection is right up my street, with a range of neutrals, bronze and gold tones, a few browns, and a bit of pink and purple too. Neutral palettes like these are great because they suit everyone, and everyone feels comfortable wearing them, too. It was definitely “inspired” by the £39 Too Faced Chocolate Palette, though the colours remind me of what you’d find in the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette.

I’m pleased with pigmentation and quality of the shadows overall – there are two light matte colours which don’t show up very well (the shade in the top left corner, White Light, doesn’t show up at all) but the two darker matte colours and the majority of the metallics are well pigmented and easy to blend.

Overall I think this is a great palette for the price and would highly recommend it, especially for the price. Everyone needs at least one nude eyeshadow palette in their stash and I think this is my favourite… until my next Makeup Revolution haul, obviously.
